It is the Soldier

It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who gave us the freedom to demonstrate

It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag.

And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag.”

Facebook post leads to arrests in cyberbullying suicide case – FOX 13 News

Facebook post leads to arrests in cyberbullying suicide case – FOX 13 News.

This is so sad.  Imagine yourself as a teenage girl, trying to fit in. Then your best friend steals your boyfriend. And people you thought were your friends turn on you. Everyone starts trashing you online. You start checking your FB page every few seconds to see what people are saying about you. And then someone says you should “drink bleach and die”.  And person after person hits the “LIKE” Button…30 people “like” this idea. How would you feel?

This teenager killed herself over it.

 Really.

Bullied online for over a year.

Her name was Rebecca Sedwick

         she was 12 Years old

Here is a video on what to do now:

Let us all make the effort to get involved in our children’s “online lives”.

Do you read your children’s Facebook page?

It’s not a choice anymore – “friend” me or no internet in my house.

Parents – let us stand up and be parents.

No more suicides. No more not knowing.

It’s not all roses anymore.

House of Cards – The Harbinger II

I came across this video today from Jonathan Cahn.  America is crumbling.  Our government is closed – shut down. We have cut GOD out of our schools, our government, and our finances.  The following are my views – my opinions. Take it or leave it.

The bricks have fallen – the sycamore has fallen down – a sign of judgement.  America is being uprooted.

Isaiah 9:10 NKJV

“The bricks have fallen down,
But we will rebuild with hewn stones;
The sycamores are cut down,
But we will replace them with cedars.”

“WE WILL REBUILD” – the words our President used in his first speech to Congress.  A Nation in Defiance of God. Legalizing Gay marriage, killing our children with abortions everyday, and building golden calves.

“Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1 NKJV)

This is now at the End of Wall Street – a dead sycamore tree.

Below is the ‘symbol’ that we have put in lower Manhattan to represent Wall Street. Wow, talk about a nation abandoning God. Please pray for a Spirit of Repentance to come to our country.

7000 lbs of Bronze – didn’t we have a problem with golden calves and idols?

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

(2 CHRONICLES 7:14  NKJV)

Ready for the ACTS Church?  The Revival is coming! There will be judgement and revival. Messiah will come when there is a falling away.  Get ready for Israel to come to Jesus! The way it began will be the way it will end.  Jesus is the alpha and the omega – the beginning and the end.   The church is coming back to Jerusalem, not Rome.

We are called to be radical. Let us enlarge our consecration to Him.

If we get serious with God, He will get serious with us.

Let us grow up and put away foolish things.

The world is waiting.

Prepare the way of the Lord.

When the night gets darker – let us shine brighter!

Arise people of God to your calling! Let us rise for such a time as this!

Suicide Prevention Awareness Day is today.  I looked up some info on TWLOA (To Write Love On Her Arms)

Here is an excerpt from Newsweek and http://twloha.com/news/newsweek-covers-suicide-epidemic•

  • “Throughout the developed world … [suicide] is now the leading cause of death for people 15 to 49, surpassing all cancers and heart disease.”
  • “In the last two decades … there’s been a 37 percent increase in the years of life lost to clinical depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug abuse, and other disorders of the mind …”
  • “The suicide rate for Americans 45 to 64 has jumped more than 30 percent in the last decade …”
  • “[Suicide] now takes more lives than war, murder, and natural disasters combined.”

Why?

By Rascal Flatts

You must have been in a
Place so dark
You couldn’t feel the light
Reachin’ for you through
That stormy cloud
Now here we are
Gathered in our little hometown
This can’t be the way
You meant to draw a crowd

[Chorus]
Oh why, that’s what I keep asking
Was there anything I could’ve
Said or done
Oh, I had no clue you were
Masking
A troubled soul, God only knows
What went wrong and why
You would leave the stage
In the middle of a song

Now in my mind I’ll keep you frozen
As a seventeen-year-old
Rounding third to score the
Winning run
You always played with passion
No matter what the game
When you took the stage
You’d shine just like the sun

[Chorus]
Oh why, that’s what I keep asking
Was there anything I could’ve
Said or done
Oh, I had no clue you were
Masking
A troubled soul, God only knows
What went wrong and why
You would leave the stage
In the middle of a song

Now the oak trees are swaying
In the early autumn breeze
A golden sun is shining on my face
Through tangled thoughts
I hear a mockingbird sing
This old world really ain’t that
Bad of a place

Oh why, there’s no comprehending
And who am I to try to
Judge or explain
Oh, but I do have one
Burning question
Who told you life wasn’t
Worth the fight
They were wrong, they lied
Now you’re gone and we cry
‘Cause it’s not like you to
Walk away
In the middle of a song

Your beautiful song
Your absolutely beautiful song

When a Cowboy’s Heart Breaks

rain-wallpaper-4I have been reading so many posts about rain these days.

What does the rain mean to you?

What do you think of when it rains?

Here is a song collaboration I did with Kenney Noguera from Conconully, Washington.  Kenney is a talented musician with songs in many genres.  You can visit Kenney and his music here:

Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

I love the internet sometimes – it let’s us connect with people all across the globe in a click or two!  And this song travelled all the way to Canada and back with Chameleon doing the Mixing/Mastering!  You can visit Chameleon here

A black cowboy hat
hangs upon the shelf
he took it off
the day she left
she was tired of life
being a cowboy’s wife

When a cowboy’s heart breaks
rain starts to fall
everybody knows
this rodeo’s closed
You can tell right away
that his love is gone, gone, gone
When teardrops fall
from Heaven

When the north wind howls
like an old night owl
and the ground shakes
you can hear his heartache
Leaves blowing in the breeze
There’s crying in the trees

When a cowboy’s heart breaks
rain starts to fall
Everybody knows
this rodeo’s closed
You can tell right away
that his love is gone, gone, gone
When teardrops fall
from Heaven

When a cowboy’s heart breaks
rain starts to fall
When a cowboy’s heart breaks

Please leave us a comment – Ms D has to come up with a Press Release for this song and I would love to quote YOU!
