Loved – Teen Bible Study

Loved. Now there is a can of worms.  Pray for me today while I try and share the difference between love and lust.  There are so many voices telling us “I love you”.  But not all of them are telling the truth.  What is love – really?  What does God define it as?  We all … Read more

Adopted – Teen Bible Study

Adopted. By God. Really? I have to admit, this lesson was hard for me to write. I am still learning about the Father’s Love. It is so different that what I have experienced here in the world. Yet I trust Abba Father, for a fresh revelation of His Love – for all of us today, … Read more

Storms Will Surely Come

Storms “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! That Ugly Stick is Not Love

I found this poem in my journals from a while ago. I wrote it after coming out of a bad relationship. Sometimes I think I learn what is from what isn’t. Does that make sense? Love was one of those things. I had lots of people tell me they loved me, but their actions did … Read more

ROFL with Restoration

ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing) with Restoration. Let me share a story. Once upon a time there was a girl who married a boy thinking life would be grand. But she was deceived. She used her name and her credit to buy him a van for his job. But he didn’t want to go. He didn’t “feel” like it. She followed him around for years as they lost house after house and car after car. After awhile the tow truck came and towed the van away – repossessed. They divorced after his unfaithfulness, yet the repossessed mark was still on her credit report…

Fast forward 13 years later for the Restoration:

The girl is remarried to a Prince. He goes to work. They buy a house in the country. She is so happy. They play music together all the time. They lead the worship team Janesville Apostolic Ministries. They needed a new car after meeting a deer. (See below)

The girl applied for a loan for a new used car. Her credit report sparkles. God gives her a car with no money down. Yes God can restore all things – even credit!

Now for the funny part:

Just as the salesman drives up to give the girl the new car her ex pulls into the car lot. He was dropping off the girl’s son. The salesman (who has no idea) pulls around the truck and parks the girls new car right in front of the ex. The salesman gives the girl the keys to her new car. The girls son gets out of the ex’s rusty truck and climbs into the new car. The ex glares at the girl with anger and then drives off. He gets lost in the parking lot figuring a way to turn around. The ex figures it out and drives by the girl and her son in a new car. If eyes were knives she would be dead. But no…

The girl? She is still ROFL with Restoration!

This is My Wish; Peace on Earth

THIS IS MY WISH
By Jordin Sparks

This is my wish
My wish for the world
That peace would find its way
To every boy and girl

This is the time
The time for harmony
Let love be the song
That everybody sings

Fill the air with joyful noise
Ring the bells and raise your voice
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth
Lift your light
Let it shine
Shine, shine, shine
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth

I hear the sweetest sound
The sound of hope to come
Together we can bring
Good will to everyone

Fill the air with joyful noise
Ring the bells and raise your voice
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth
Lift your light
Let it shine
Shine, shine, shine
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth

Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

Fill the air with joyful noise
Ring the bells and raise your voice
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth
Lift your light
Let it shine
Shine, shine, shine
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth

Let there be peace on earth

Shut up Already

Our family had the pleasure of going to watch my daughter play basketball last night.  The girls did great.  Some of the parents in the stands were awful.  I was embarrassed.  Have you ever gone to a sporting event and sat by that person who continually criticized the Referee? Well, we had the misfortune to … Read more
