Married – to God, that’s what we are talking about today. This post is probably not going to be the most popular – oh well. I know our country is in flux about what Marriage is and what it is not. And what is legal – or not. Like a Pastor told me once,
“Just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s right.”
So is Marriage a law? A covenant? A promise? An arrangement? I guess we have to determine what the word means first. It seems everyone has their own definition these days. Change the definition to fit what you want to do with it right? Yeah, that’s working great – not! Welcome to the world…
My job as a Sunday School Teacher is to present what the Bible says about marriage. How does God define Marriage? And then each child will have to make their own choices. In the Bible, marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman. There is no gay marriage in the Bible. It doesn’t exist.
