My Dear Friend, I have shared your blog with my friends and proffered an award in your honor. No further action is required on your part. I simply wanted you to know. Here is the post should you care to read further: http://booknvolume.com/2013/10/08/gobsmacked-by-the-grand-award/
Wow. Can’t believe you posted this today; my mom’s birthday. I lost her in January 1986. Took me nearly a year before I stopped reaching for the phone to call her. Know the feeling. Bless you, sweetie.
Happy birthday Mommy. I know some days are harder than others. Birthdays and holidays are the hardest for me. We have had a lot of “drama” lately in our family and I really miss calling her or my mother-in-law and just listening to their advice. Bless you too beautiful, sitting beside you crying too. :'(

Sad here, too. I light a candle on my mother’s birthday and talk to her. I pray the smoke carries her my words of love and news of her grandchildren.
What a beautiful, loving way to talk to mom Brenda, thank you. I love candles.
It has helped me feel more peaceful. More connected. Hugs, Brenda
