Do you ever wonder what happens when God smiles at you? I have been learning more about Abba Father these days and that thought crossed my mind. I mean he’s our Daddy right? Daddy’s always smile at their kiddos. I picture a little kid climbing right up in God’s lap. Looking up into His eyes. Now, let that kid be you! Just try it, give Him those big eyes and watch Him smile at you!

Numbers 6:24-26

God bless you and keep you,
God smile on you and gift you,
God look you full in the face
and make you prosper.

Psalm 67:1-7
God, mark us with grace and blessing! Smile! The whole country will see how you work, all the godless nations see how you save. God! Let people thank and enjoy you. Let all people thank and enjoy you. Let all far-flung people become happy and shout their happiness because You judge them fair and square, you tend the far-flung peoples. God! God-of-the-Angel-Armies, come back! Smile your blessing smile: That will be our salvation.

Job 33:26-28
“Or, you may fall on your knees and pray—to God’s delight! You’ll see God’s smile and celebrate, finding yourself set right with God. You’ll sing God’s praises to everyone you meet, testifying, ‘I messed up my life— and let me tell you, it wasn’t worth it. But God stepped in and saved me from certain death. I’m alive again! Once more I see the light!’

Psalm 119:57-64
Because you have satisfied me, God, I promise to do everything you say. I beg you from the bottom of my heart: smile, be gracious to me just as you promised. When I took a long, careful look at your ways, I got my feet back on the trail you blazed. I was up at once, didn’t drag my feet, was quick to follow your orders. The wicked hemmed me in—there was no way out— but not for a minute did I forget your plan for me. I get up in the middle of the night to thank you; your decisions are so right, so true—I can’t wait till morning! I’m a friend and companion of all who fear you, of those committed to living by your rules. Your love, God, fills the earth! Train me to live by your counsel.
