Solid Foundation – NaPoWriMo Day 5

What does a solid foundation do?

The Meaning of the Stone

But the Master, God, has something to say to this:

“Watch closely. I’m laying a foundation in Zion,
a solid granite foundation, squared and true.
And this is the meaning of the stone:
    a trusting life won’t topple.
I’ll make justice the measuring stick
and righteousness the plumb line for the building.
A hailstorm will knock down the shantytown of lies,
and a flash flood will wash out the rubble.” (Isaiah 28:17-17 MSG)

 matthew 7

Solid foundation, I have a solid foundation

when the world is falling apart

The LORD is my refuge, my rock and salvation

I refuse to lose heart

I am who He says I am, and I can do what He says I can do

I’m a child of God, forgiven and free

bought with the blood of Jesus you see

I’m righteous and holy and so dearly loved

I am who He says I am, and I can do what He says I can do

The enemy of God has no hold on me

The LORD  my God has all authority

His Word is my sword, so I’m taking a stand

I’ll conquer the enemy, take back the land

I am who He says I am, and I can do what He says I can do
