The Meaning of the Stone
But the Master, God, has something to say to this:
“Watch closely. I’m laying a foundation in Zion,
a solid granite foundation, squared and true.
And this is the meaning of the stone:
a trusting life won’t topple.
I’ll make justice the measuring stick
and righteousness the plumb line for the building.
A hailstorm will knock down the shantytown of lies,
and a flash flood will wash out the rubble.” (Isaiah 28:17-17 MSG)
SOLID FOUNDATION
©by Diana Rasmussen (3/2010)
Solid foundation, I have a solid foundation
when the world is falling apart
The LORD is my refuge, my rock and salvation
I refuse to lose heart
I am who He says I am, and I can do what He says I can do
I’m a child of God, forgiven and free
bought with the blood of Jesus you see
I’m righteous and holy and so dearly loved
I am who He says I am, and I can do what He says I can do
The enemy of God has no hold on me
The LORD my God has all authority
His Word is my sword, so I’m taking a stand
I’ll conquer the enemy, take back the land
I am who He says I am, and I can do what He says I can do
This really moved me – it’s heart-stirring, will you be my mentor? You may have to start in pre-school Sunday school class : )
let’s be friends – we can email and talk. All I can do is share what He showed me – just as you do with your testimony. But I would love to get to know you better 😉 I am at: prayersandpromises12@gmail.com
