Not Good Enough?

I am still searching out this guilt, shame, condemnation, freedom, righteousness, grace thing. Can I tell you I am still learning this whole “God” thing, what He really says, and what He really means. This post helped me a lot today:

Is the Holy Spirit really the “Fault Finder” or Accuser of Brethren?

I woke up with these words running in my head:

“NOT GOOD ENOUGH, NOT GOOD ENOUGH”

from suzannecarterartist.blogspot.com
from suzannecarterartist.blogspot.com

Now I know that is not from God,

that is NOT what God says to me.

That is what someone else has told me,

and it is NOT TRUE!

Help us Lord, with your Holy Spirit, to understand You and Your ways. Lord, let us take every thought captive and subject it to YOUR WORD.  I reject those words “not good enough”.  Let them fall to the ground like dust.  Thank you for the sword of your Spirit – the Word of God – that helps me to know what is true and what is false. I thank you that we can know the Truth and the Truth will set us FREE!

This is what I’m putting on – how about You?

I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10 NIV)

  1. Gorgeous warrior garb! I agree with you. It’s time to stand firm and say, “enough” to the accuser of the brethren. Hmm. lightbulb! The accuser…who accuses us personally, not just accusing us to God. Wow.

    That was cool. Thanks!

  2. The Holy Spirit convicts but never condemns. None are good enough, this is why we need Christ Jesus. “There is therefore no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus…” Romans 8:1 Peace, mark…

    1. Thank you Mark, I appreciate your input. I guess what amazed me was how quickly I began to question myself and doubt that. But it did give me an opportunity to confront that false belief in my spirit and cast it out! I feel so free today! Peace to you too, Diana

  3. The devil will try anything to put you down when you are so close to God. The Holy Spirit will give you profound joy and peace when you are searching for healing. In the name of Jesus, Satan, I command you leave Ms. D!
