Hard to see?

Hard to See?

It’s often hard to see
the forest through the trees
Though blind as I may be
Touch my eyes to see
Lord I need your mercy
Shine your light on me

God’s Promise to You:

Jesus Heals a Blind Man

They arrived at Bethsaida. Some people brought a sightless man and begged Jesus to give him a healing touch. Taking him by the hand, he led him out of the village. He put spit in the man’s eyes, laid hands on him, and asked, “Do you see anything?”

He looked up. “I see men. They look like walking trees.” So Jesus laid hands on his eyes again. The man looked hard and realized that he had recovered perfect sight, saw everything in bright, twenty-twenty focus. Jesus sent him straight home, telling him, “Don’t enter the village.” (Mark 8:22-26 AMP)

My Prayer for you:

Dear Lord,

Sometimes we get lost in the details, and can’t seem to see or understand what to do next.  Sometimes our vision is clouded by our past experiences, past wounds, regrets, traumas, or abuse.  We need you to touch our eyes Lord, like you did this man in the story.  Things are cloudy, and fuzzy, and we want to see.  Restore our vision Lord, give us wisdom, peace, and give us sight – to see ourselves and our future through your eyes, in Jesus Name.
