When I’m Weary

When I’m Weary

When I’m weary, heavy laden,
I come to You,
You give me rest.

When the storms are raging,
And waves of despair abound,
You bring me peace in the storm.

I rest my head on Your shoulder,  image
Look into Your eyes of love,
Troubles melt and hope’s renewed,
Suddenly, everything will be alright.

When my world crumbles,
and all my castles wash away.
In the shaking of the storms,
Jesus, let Your love remain.

    1. You are so right Tammy. Funny how we look for rest in all those other places though.
I am glad God is patient with us. Love your post tonight about hope’s enemy – adversity. Thank you too!
