DAILY PROMPT:
In a new post specifically created for this challenge, share a picture that evokes HOME for you.
THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME
Home is Heaven…
“But there’s far more to life for us. We’re citizens of high heaven! We’re waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He’ll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be, under and around him.” (Philippians 3:20-21)
This world is not our home, we are just visiting. We are Christ’s Ambassadors, sent to bring you the good news! (Oh yeah, and this body is just my temporary tent – Hallelujah, thank you Jesus!)
“And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.
And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them.
And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us.
We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin,
so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”
(2 Corinthians 5:18-21)

Amen! I am so glad that this old body is just a “tent” . Sometimes I get weary and just want to go home 🙂 When I see the truth about who I really am, the image in the mirror is not so disheartening 🙂 Bless you!
I’m just a sojourner here waiting to go home. But until then, I’m finishing out God’s purpose here for me. Thank you for this confirmation.
