He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted;
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. (Isaiah 40:29-31 AMP)
Cool – I also used this verse today!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful, encouraging truth. I needed this reminder today as I struggle through my layers of grief. Now instead of simply suffering, I’m waiting on the Lord while I suffer. A huge difference. Many thanks…
You are welcome Lori, but be assured, I am with you girl. I have to search it out for me too. I still have times the waves cover me, but I know that we are not alone. I’m resting in Him too. (((hugs)))
Thank you. Yes, knowing we are not alone is half the remedy for what ails us. I love the saying, “shared grief is divided; shared joy, multiplied.”
Thanks for multiplying and dividing with me. 🙂
An eagle can sense when a storm is coming and he can mount above it and then sail on the wind through it. It is the same for us when we sense a storm coming we can turn to God and sail through in His power and strength! Amen and Amen . . .
I really needed to hear that today Deb, thank you for ministering to me.
Love you sis, Diana
