Printing with God’s Abundance

Printing with God’s Abundance? What are you talking about Miss D? Let me share a funny story.

This past year has been our test – with relation to money. This is just one example of God’s provision in my life. We own our own small business, INNOVATIVETEKS,  an IT Consulting and Computer Repair Business. As in all small businesses there are times of feast and times of famine. This past year or so has been the famine. Yet our God, has provided. In amazing ways.

Two years ago I broke both bones in my lower leg at a job. We did not have workmans comp – we are independent contractors. We didn’t want to sue the hotel and lose our business. So my husband Bob has kept things going, despite my years of therapy. I have done what I could, yet my capacity to stand, bend, and climb on ladders is not good at the moment. God will heal me – in his time, not mine. (see GOD HEALS)

Yet this past year God has provided in a way we never could have ourselves. We bought a house. We bought a car after the old one got totaled by a deer. (See DIVINE PROTECTION IN EVERYDAY LIFE) We were blessed with a new computer (thanks Dad!) after Bob had to borrow the Pastor’s laptop (thanks Jeff!) to do some work. Our old laptop battery would not last long enough to do a site survey. Bob had to disassemble my recording computer and use that hard drive in the Pastor’s laptop so this new software wouldn’t crash. Use what you got right?

We have had numerous jobs where we have installed a new printer and were asked by the buyer to dispose of the old printer. We have been using these old printers faithfully for the last few years.

This past month things were so tight we could not even buy a new printer cartridge. So what did Bob do? He took his soldering iron, burned a hole in the old printer cartridge and refilled it himself with all the old toners we had. Yes, it was messy. Yes, he was covered in toner. And he used metal tape to close the hole. And it worked, thank you Jesus!

Anyway, Bob has been working for the last 10 days straight. And today he was supposed to take off. But God had other plans – plans for provision. We get work day by day from different National Buyers, so we never know for sure where, when, or how much.

The phone went off. It was a printer job. And they wanted you to dispose of the old printer. Some fancy furniture store. They just bought a new one. God bless him, he went. And guess what he brought home?

A COLOR LASER JET PRINTER WITH SCANNER with extra toners – let me be more specific to share with you how Good God is…this printer retails for $2000. And the ink cartridges they gave him to throw out retail at over $1400. Yep. we had $3.00 in the checking account this morning. And God blessed us with the tools that we need for our business worth over $3400!!!!

Don’t give up.

Your miracle is on it’s way.

God has more than enough – He owns it all and He wants to bless his kids.

I think I’ll just say, “Thank you Jesus!”, and let Him!

Thanks Daddy God!

GOD’S WORD FOR YOU:

Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son.

So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” (Genesis 22:13-14 NIV)

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”(Matthew 7:9-12 NIV)

I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:13-14 NIV)

MY PRAYER FOR YOU:

Dear Lord,

Thank you for your Divine Provision. Thank you for your grace and abundant mercy. Thank you for this abundant life. Forgive us for doubting You. You are faithful, You are awesome, and thanks for the new attitude, the new stuff, and the new life, in Jesus Name.

  1. Thank for this message of Hope – God is indeed good in our times of need and our time of grief. May God continue to shower you with His goodness.

  2. Thank You, Jesus! Thank You for Bob and Diana. They are such an inspiration to me.

Ms. D this just makes me want to go out and shop our music even more. I think I’ll enter our Screen Shot songs, minus our two newest. I’m afraid I don’t have time to get them done.
But if I do, then I’ll find a way to enter them.

I want us to be in the business of writing music as much for you as for me—maybe even more for you. You and Bob are proof that we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. All the praise and glory go to Him.
