Pray for Me Please

Tomorrow night I give a Bible Study. It’s about Domestic Abuse and how God delivered me. It’s been 18 years since I lived in domestic violence. But as I think of it and prepare my Power Point it brings back all the old feelings. Oh Lord help me. I want to run. Help me Jesus.

I know it was a long time ago, but it still hurts. I still need God’s healing in my heart. Help me Jesus. Will my friends and family think less of me when I share the truth? Lord, give me the courage and strength to share the truth.

  1. I too was delivered from domestic abuse. I left a 22 year marriage fearing for my life. I was gaslighted and crying out for freedom from the abuse and affairs and lies. I was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and yet the familiar spirit had never been identified and renounced and I was not free! Sadly, my family that wanted me to leave all those years wanted to label me mentally ill. The Lord kept me and though painful, my story, the truth started in the womb. God set me free, saved me and used Jeremiah 1, the whole chapter, but especially verse 4-10. The Lord had to deal with the entry point and that was in the womb. The family wants to blame and keep the secrets covered. I survived!! Though painful I addressed my family and told my story with the help of the Holy Spirit. Your story is your overcoming testimony and the key to set others free, including your family. God has restored more than I lost. I will pray, the Holy Spirit will lead your words. Jeremiah 1:10 is your calling! Your purpose. God will go before you and silence the enemy and I pray no backlash, no retaliation! God will be your shield and the truth will set all free. Your calling, ministry and purpose was birthed through this. Your anointed for this! Go and deliver the truth and set the captives free. Shine the light of the truth and crush the darkness. You are their lifeline to JESUS!!

    1. Thank you my sister. You are a blessing to me and to others. God is with you. I agree and receive this:

      “Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
      “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
      Before you were born I sanctified you;
      I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
      Then said I:
      “Ah, Lord GOD!
      Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”
      But the LORD said to me:
      “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’

      For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
      And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
      Do not be afraid of their faces,
      For I am with you to deliver you,” says the LORD.
      Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me:

      “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
      See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
      To root out and to pull down,
      To destroy and to throw down,
      To build and to plant.” “ – Jeremiah 1:4-10
