What a Wonderful World – Show and Tell

DAILY PROMPT
You’ve been asked to do a five-minute presentation to a group of young schoolchildren on the topic of your choice. Describe your presentation.

There are some things that can’t be TAUGHT, they have to be CAUGHT – wonder, awe, confident expectation, excitement.

I would give the kids a glimpse of something bigger than ourselves – God and His wonderful world!

 (Thanks to sister-in-law Kris, who sent me this video yesterday!)

 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;
He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood fast.  (Psalm 33:6-9 NASB)

  1. Reblogged this on nightlightblogdotcom and commented:
    I enjoyed this short film, showing, at it does, the marvelous variety in creation. It amazes me that Atenborough is an evolutionist, though he h as done wonderful work documenting the complexity and intricacy of “nature.” It’s just astonishing how different eyes see, and different minds interpret, “the evidence”. Sola Dei Gloria

  2. A wonderful film, and yet Atenborough is an evolutionist. Strange how different eyes see, and different minds interpret, “the evidence.” I particularly enjoyed the surfing penguins!

    • Oh well, God still does great work. Lord, open his eyes and reveal yourself to this man, in Jesus Name!

  3. What a great God you would share with the young ones, and with us! Thank you and God bless you!

  4. God Saturday, Diana. It’s a wonderful world no matter what! This is my favorite song and Alan put a picture behind the song. This song will be played on my Celebration of Life. Have a lovely day.
