Tears from sorrow
Tears from the pain
Will I ever
Get up again?
Pressure and stress
Not feeling blessed
Will this season
Ever be done?
Only God can take
These tears like lake
Plant them as seeds
For joy to grow
Those who sow in Tears
Shall reap in joy.
He who continually goes forth weeping,
Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
Bringing his sheaves with him. – Psalm 126:5-6
I can’t believe all those years I cried. All those years of sorrow. I didn’t think God knew or even cared. I was wrong.
He collected every tear. He put it in his bottle. He planted it for a future harvest.
Today my life is way different. I am happy. I am blessed. God took all those years and planted them as seeds. You know what grew? Joy. Yes – joy! God doesn’t waste anything. He is faithful. He will turn your sorrow into joy – He promised!
