Pain Can Have a Purpose

Are you a Mother?

Then you have given birth.

Remember labor?

Yeah, it’s called “labor” for a reason. I have had four children, some natural, and some by c-section. Either way, it hurt. It was painful. There were times I did not know if I or the baby would make it. Yet we endure. We keep pushing. Because there is a baby coming. Something new is being born. A baby is coming!

May I be so bold as to say this happens not only in the Natural, but in the Spiritual as well. There are new things being born, new babies coming, and God is using you to birth it. It may hurt, you may not like it, it will be uncomfortable. Yet, I can tell you with assurance,  It is worth it! Do not give up, do not give in, there is a baby coming! A new life is being born, into the Kingdom of God.

Do not lose hope, God knows what He is doing. And He still loves you – even when you said “that”. He knows we say a lot of things we don’t mean when we are in labor.  Ask Him yourself, He forgives you. He knows pain too.

GOD’S PROMISE TO YOU

A woman, when she gives birth to a child, has grief (anguish, agony) because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she no longer remembers her pain (trouble, anguish) because she is so glad that a man (a child, a human being) has been born into the world.  (John 16:21 AMP)

*

Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19 AMP)

*

Hear, O Lord, have mercy and be gracious to me! O Lord, be my helper!

You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,

To the end that my tongue and my heart and everything glorious within me may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever. (Psalm 30:10-12 AMP)

MY PRAYER FOR YOU:

Dear Lord,

Thank you, you, for using us to birth new things into your Kingdom.  Calm our spirits, despite the pain. Help us to remember that this pain has a purpose, and something new will be born into our lives, in Jesus Name.
