Let us Hear what God is Saying

I am listening today. I want to hear what God is saying. Got my frustration and rant out yesterday. Thank you so much for your comments and prayers. You really do hold me up sometimes. I finally figured out how to add a Blogroll last night to my widgets so I can share your stories here too. Still adding names…love you all, Diana

John 14:26
Amplified Bible (AMP)
But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

Deuteronomy 32:1-3
Amplified Bible (AMP)
Give ear, O heavens, and I [Moses] will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
My message shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the light rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb.
For I will proclaim the name [and presence] of the Lord. Concede and ascribe greatness to our God.

Mark 4:24
Amplified Bible (AMP)
And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.

Hebrews 4:7
Amplified Bible (AMP)
Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.

Revelation 3:20
Amplified Bible (AMP)
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.

  1. Listening to people is one of my strong points; however, sitting still and listening to God is not. I pray, then get on with my day. Great reminder to just be still. Love you.

  2. I always listen but many times fight to obey because it does not make sense to me. In the end I am glad I submitted and obeyed.

    God bless you.
