Learning to be Flexible When the Wind Blows

According to the dictionary:

Flexibility is a personality trait — the extent to which a person can cope with changes in circumstances and think about problems and tasks in novel, creative ways. This trait is used when stressors or unexpected events occur, requiring a person to change their stance, outlook, or commitment.

What happens when the wind blows in your life?

Do you bend with it or do you break?
Are you rooted in Christ to withstand the storms?

Or have you built your house (life) on sinking sand?

I guess in life the deeper my roots go in Christ – the more I can sway with the breeze.

Life Changes. People change. Winds come and go. Will you bend or break?

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. – Romans 12:2

Roots bring strength to the whole tree.

They hold us up in the storms of life.

Roots anchor us.

Roots constantly grow and spread out.

Roots carry water and nutrients to the whole tree.

How are your roots these days?

Need more water?

Come to the Well!
