I am not defined by earthly boundaries
This world is not my home
This body is only a tent
Just a temporary dwelling
I will not be defined by my past
I will not be defined by your label
I’ve been born again by the Spirit of God
I’m defined by the Word of the Son
My old life has passed away
It’s buried at the foot of the Cross
I’m having a resurrection
It’s the power of God in me
Forgiven and free
He has a purpose for me
Fulfills my destiny
He gives me the victory
The blood of Jesus covers me
I have a new beginning and a new end
My future is bright and yet to be

Awesome! Too many of us have been wounded by these labels that man puts on us… but we need to remember what God says about us! God bless you, my sister!
It took me a long time to get out from under those labels which don’t define me. I have to remember constantly, when the old self tries to come knocking on my door, that only He, Who created me, defines me. And I am who I am through Jesus Christ.
