I have found one thing to get me through the tough times. And it seems it is not the easiest thing to do. It is certainly not the first thought that comes to mind. Yet it helps me move forward when I am stuck.
“Thank You Lord”
Yeah. Finding one good thing in any situation turns my attitude around. I don’t want to be one of those people stuck out in the desert for 40 years. I am ready Lord – to enter the Promised Land with an Attitude of Gratitude! What are you grateful for today?
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, 3 those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.[a]
4 Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. 5 They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. 6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 7 He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. 8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, 9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
God knows. And He hears your tears as prayers. We started this Bible study at Church about Depression. I know it’s a good thing. But can I say I am coming unglued? After our second session I went up to the Guest that came to teach us and just hugged her. I said thank you. It was like a wall came down in me. I had to go downstairs in the bathroom to cry. All these emotions just flooding over me. Idk why. Guess it was time for them to come out. As tears. So much healing yet to be done.
Help us all Lord, open our hearts and our minds as Deep calls out to Deep and we let the Holy Spirit in the secret places in our hearts. The rooms that words don’t touch. The rooms of hurt, and darkness. Shine your light Lord, and bring Healing in Jesus Name.
Psalm 116:1-14 I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Death wrapped its ropes around me;the terrors of the grave overtook me. I saw only trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord:“Please, Lord, save me!” How kind the Lord is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me. Let my soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to me. He has saved me from death,my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the Lord’s presence as I live here on earth! I believed in you, so I said,“I am deeply troubled, Lord.” In my anxiety I cried out to you,“These people are all liars!” What can I offer the Lord for all he has done for me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and praise the Lord’s name for saving me. I will keep my promises to the Lord in the presence of all his people.

“Raindrops fall from the sky because the clouds can no longer hold them”
There will always be those who accuse you. It’s just how it is in the Kingdom of God. Especially when you are walking in the Way. Fault-finders, those who are jealous or envious, and those who point the finger and try to disqualify you. Don’t receive it. And don’t disqualify yourself either. God has already qualified you by putting His Spirit within you. Your anointing is from Him. He is your teacher and comforter. I wrote about that here: Don’t Disqualify Yourself for What God has Qualified You For.
I came across the word ‘vindicate’ in my reading yesterday. I had to look it up, I wasn’t sure what it meant. And then I searched it out. What great news! God will vindicate me. He will clear my name and protect me, no matter what others say about me. The truth will come out, it always does. It is hard though when your enemies are laughing over you. Some people love to kick you when you are down. And they want to keep you there too so they can feel extra ‘spiritual’. It’s not you, it’s them. It’s fear and insecurity. They are afraid. Pray for them, love them. But their words do not have to come into your spirit. Let them fall to the ground.
Thank you Lord, that You justify us and deliver us from the enemies. I guess I could look at all those accusers as confirmation that I am in the will of God. He said troubles would come. But He also promised to lead us through it and protect us on the journey. Always gonna be the haters. Love ’em anyway.

QUOTES ON VINDICATE
Psalm 26 :1
Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity; I have [expectantly] trusted in, leaned on, and relied on the Lord without wavering and I shall not slide.Psalm 35:24
Judge and vindicate me, O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness (Your rightness and justice); and let [my foes] not rejoice over me!Psalm 43:1
Judge and vindicate me, O God; plead and defend my cause against an ungodly nation. O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
Save me, O God, by Your name; judge and vindicate me by Your mighty strength and power.
For the Lord will judge and vindicate His people, and He will delay His judgments [manifesting His righteousness and mercy] and take into favor His servants [those who meet His terms of separation unto Him].
Psalm 55:16, 22-23
As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord will save me. Cast your burden on the Lord releasing the weight of it and He will sustain you; He will never allow the consistently righteous to be moved made to slip, fall, or fail. But You, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of destruction; men of blood and treachery shall not live out half their days. But I will trust in, lean on, and confidently rely on You.
Here is a great FB post from Chuck Pierce that gave me strength yesterday, and another from Graham Cooke that helped me remember:
