Inside chrysalis
Old dead ways cast off
New things being born
Hanging on this thorn

Wings unfolding light
Transforming even mind
Beauty now flies free

God’s Word for You:

“This is what God says,
the God who builds a road right through the ocean,
who carves a path through pounding waves,

The God who summons horses and chariots and armies—
they lie down and then can’t get up;
they’re snuffed out like so many candles:

“Forget about what’s happened;
don’t keep going over old history.
Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new.

  2. Hallelujah Diana – what a beautiful poem! Of course, it was a poem of beauty, so how could it not be beautiful? And the words of encouragement were truly uplifting as well. May God continue to bless you, beloved sister!

  4. So many of us has gone through that transformation, yet still think ourselves the caterpillar. Thank you for the reminder that we are the beautiful, if fragile, butterflies with wings to fly!
