I have noticed in this past year that accusations are flying around everywhere. Whether it is about the Government, the Schools, the Church, the ongoing War, or even in our personal lives – the Accuser is saying all sorts of things that are NOT TRUE. There seems to be a rise of false accusations towards us.

I have had accusing thoughts when I first wake up. It’s always about my weight gain. By the time I have some coffee, I have to remind myself of what God Says about me, and reject the Accuser.

I have had to hold my tongue with those I love. I find myself uneasy when the Accuser whispers in my ear the things that I fear. Sometimes I need a minute to test those thoughts and see if they are true or false. Here is what God says about you:

“Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.  The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” – John 10:7-10

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” – Revelation 12:10 NKJV

Any night of watching the local news will show us who is fighting for what, with each side demanding they know the truth. It’s like they are looking through the binoculars of life with a broken lens. There are cracks everywhere, chaos everywhere, and some newscaster telling you what they think about it. Nothing against newscasters, but I use the Word of God for my compass. If God says is, it’s true, for He is the Truth!

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.“ – John 14:6 NKJV

“The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete.” – 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 AMP

Let us not believe everything we hear for there is an Accuser of the Brethren. The Devil himself accuses us day and night before our God. He is trying to win the argument by accusing us in front of the Lord. Guess what? we have a Mediator that gave himself as a ransom for all. We have been redeemed and are covered by the Blood of Jesus!

“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.” 1 Timothy 2:5-7 NKJV

We know the end of the story! The Devil has been cast down! We will overcome him by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and the word of our testimony!

“Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” – Revelation 12:10-12 NKJV
