Resurrect My Broken Life
© 2013 D Rasmussen

There’s a road through the ocean,
And water comes from a rock.
Victory is in a shout.
You can remove all my doubts.
*
Crucify my stubbornness,
Roll away my stone of fear.
You collect all of my tears,
Resurrect my broken life.
*
Angel food falls from the sky,
Even darkness turns to light.
All dead, dry bones come alive.
And Your death brings me life.

Supernatural, is natural.
Impossible, is possible.

Diana, wonderful! Yes, supernatural is natural.
Amen beautiful…
Your poems are just as reflective as Ian’s. Beautiful, Diana.
Thank you beautiful. Who is Ian? I love poetry, reminds me of the Psalms. 😉
Ian was the author of the last poem I shared in my post.
Absolutely love this . . . so much wonderful truth packed into this tight bundle of love! ~ Blessings ~
Thank you Deb, I am learning to lead with my heart and not my head. It makes me feel so vulnerable, but I know it’s the truth. I appreciate your friendship and your beautiful words of encouragement. Thank you sis, Diana
Beauty!
Thank you Seer, that means a lot coming from you, your poetry is beautiful as well. Blessings, Diana
Beautiful, Diana. The images you chose to go with your poem were absolutely beautiful and fit as though they were deliberately created by the artists for this post, and these lines were my favorite, as they are a prayer we should all offer up to the Lord:
Crucify my stubbornness,
Roll away my stone of fear.
You collect all of my tears,
Resurrect my broken life.
Thanks so much for sharing the gift that the Lord has given you.
Much love,
Cheryl
Thank you Cheryl, I am glad there are artists out there who capture what I see in my heart! Love you sis, Diana
