“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy,
Now I will arise,” says the Lord;
“I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”
(Psalm 12:5 NKJV)
Into the hovels of the poor,
Into the dark streets where the homeless groan, God speaks:
“I’ve had enough; I’m on my way
To heal the ache in the heart of the wretched.” (Psalm 12:5 MSG)
ARISE

Water running
Down the curb
Small stream of
Homeless tears
Falling through
The metal grate
Every ache
Of broken heart
Cries out in
Anguish
“Make it stop,”
Groans trickle by
People unseen yet
Summon to the
King of Kings
Calling Him
Our Savior
To ARISE.
Alluring! Blessings in abundance to you Diana!
