Hi Diana, thanks so much for your awesome comments on my poetry, I was pleased that they help you in that way and pray that God will continue speaking to you through them. God Bless you, Mike.
It’s amazing how people somehow find eachother from the same backgroung with almost the same story and come out of it with the same strength. I love that we fell upon eachother and I love your messages, story, valid raw points, and most of all inspiration. You who have come from the same darkness that once surrounded me as well are shedding light on the world with your beautiful soul…..this is rare for many survivors of abuse sadly many are inward or beg for pity not thinking that there are other’s out there like us that need desperately to know they are not alone! Thank you for being YOU! 🙂 Jacqueline
Thank you Jacqueline, you are a pretty bright light yourself! I am grateful to stand beside you…
You are very sweet, thank you 🙂
You are singing my song! I love your site and the challenges you present. Thanks for sharing! And thank you for checking out my blog. I’m glad you found me. Isn’t it encouraging to know God’s faithfulness knows no end, and we are not the only one who has experienced it?
You are so right Laura, I am grateful for God’s faithfulness. And I am happy we found each other too! 😉
thank you for your kind wishes on our anniversary
I am so happy for you. There are so many women who just continue in their relationships. I know it’s easy for us to say…leave him…and although our best intentions are at heart…it is not easy to do. So we also need to understand this and instead of telling them how, we have to show them how.
You are so right Kev, I had so many people “tell” me what to do, but only a few that would “show” me. Most women in this situation don’t even have access to cash near the end, or a vehicle. So when people say “just leave” it’s like “yeah, how?” With no money, no job, and no support system…not as easy as all that.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts today. I’m coming over to visit your blog next!
Thanks for dropping by my blog. Your story is one of anguish but also hope. It looks like a beautiful collection of memories. Cheers, Tanny
This is such a gorgeous blog–I love the name/title, “Prayers and Promises”. Praying for God’s blessings to overflow inside, outside, all around you!

Thank you, Shalom as well Jeanne!
