Pursue Peace

Images from Google

We have been so blessed this month with visiting family. My brother came out from Nevada with his family for a week. And this week my brother in law from CA and my sister in law from MI are here. Now may I confess, we do not have the picture perfect family. There have been troubles and fights and disagreements. I have to confess that prayer changes things. When we knew they were coming to visit my husband and I started praying. “God open doors and open hearts to heal our family.” Can I tell you what? God answers prayer. And he did. Our time together was so blessed with one more gathering tonight for my father in laws 84th birthday.

Stuff doesn’t matter, money doesn’t matter – it’s the people that we have in our lives that are the best treasure here on earth.

Thank you Jesus for healing hearts and opening doors!

GOD’S WORD FOR YOU:

Philippians 4:6 – Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Romans 12:18 – If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

MY PRAYER FOR YOU:

Dear Lord,

You told us salvation was for us AND our families. I ask you to step right into the middle of our mess and restore and heal hearts. Let your forgiveness of us flow through us to our families. We lay down all offenses and take the higher road today. We forgive those who have offended us and ask you to open up new doors of opportunity for healing in our families.  Let us love one another as You have loved us, in Jesus Name.
