Abandoned house
Covered with vines
Choking out life
That was inside
Covering foundation
Are weeds of confusion
Pretending to be flowers
Masking evil delusions
Creaking doors open
As memories scream
The broken windows
Reflect shattered dreams
Wind echoes down the hall
Traveling room to room
Looking to bring life again
And pull Death up by its roots
