God’s Promise to You
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9 NIV)
If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you. (John 15:19 AMP)
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:20-21 NIV)
My Prayer for You
Dear Lord,
Forgive us for all the things we have said and done to try to fit into this world. We are merely travelers here, administrators of your grace and mercy. As ambassadors for the Kingdom of Heaven, let us see the needs and hear the cries of your hurting children. Let us lavish Your love on those you bring into our lives, in Jesus Name.
