The Shadow of Your Faith Will Heal a Nation

I would like to share a story with you.  It’s a true story.  My husband and I went with a friend to a church conference in another town.  It was a few months after I broke my leg and I was on crutches.  As many people were there I had a young teen approached me at the DVD table and asked me if he could pray for me and my leg.  I said yes, of course. And asked if I could pray for him too.  He agreed.

Prayers started. Can I say that sometimes when you are at your weakest God asks to step out in faith so He can be strong.  The Holy Spirit fell immediately and as I shared the Word he was being delivered from something – idk what. I guess I really don’t need to know. I didn’t even know his name.  But when God had me speak, “At the name of Jesus every knew shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord,” he fell to his knees.  When I prayed, “Lord set him free from whatever is troubling him because You said He who the Son sets free is free indeed!” He groaned and something left.  Again, idk what. But it left. The young man stood up and started speaking in tongues, raising his hands and praising God right there at the DVD table.  With me holding onto my crutches so I didn’t fall over. Yep, all glory to God!

God showed me something that day.  It’s not about me. It’s not about how strong or how weak I am. It’s about speaking and declaring the WORD over someone else. What did God say about this issue? It’s about how strong God is, despite my weakness.

I challenge you today, if you are sick – pray for the sick.

If you are hurt – pray for the hurting.

If you are lacking – pray for someone else’s abundant supply.

Don’t run from your weakness – use it to heal someone else!

Speak the Word – and sit back and watch what God does to confirm His Word!

God will use it – and add His power to it, and you will see people healed in Jesus Name!

I was sicker than a dog this Sunday. I didn’t even make it to church. Still recuperating here. I think I have lived on 2 cups of soup for 3 days now.  But I have learned that that is the time I need to pray for HEALING for someone else. Job’s whole life was restored when He quit trying to figure out, ‘Why”, and just prayed for his friends despite his circumstances.

Hey, my husband told me that a brother no longer has diabetes – he was healed in Jesus Name! And I know my step- mom no longer has cancer. And even though the Dr told her she would need oxygen for the rest of her life, he was wrong.  She went back last week and the same Doc is scratching his head. He couldn’t figure it out – seems she no longer needs oxygen! He told her to give it back, lol!

Let’s pray for one another. Leave me a comment…

The shadow of your faith will heal a nation!

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved ]from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.

And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it). (Mark 16: 15-20 AMP)
