The Joy of Family

We all want family
A place to belong
And be loved
Where we are accepted
Despite our flaws
And covered with grace
Just because.
We stick together
No matter what
The good, the bad,
And the ugly.
Family can come by blood
Or by love,
either is the same.
Because we are one
In life, in love,
and purpose.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
