I had a vision/dream the other morning. It was when I first woke up. God told me,
“There is healing in the leaves.”
So I started my journey. The first thought I had was from Revelation:
“In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Revelation 22:2 NKJV)
So, healing in the leaves? Healing in plants. And the oils from those plants. We use oil in our church to anoint with. You may have been anointed as well.
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” (James 5:14 NKJV)
I started reading on Aromatherapy. Now I know that there are those that might think I’ve lost it here. There are many “alternative” medicines out there, and many use oils. Yet I believe that God is the Creator of all things.
“Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day.”(Genesis1:11-13 NKJV)
So, God made it, and it was good. My question is, why are we so ignorant about this? I have to admit, I really don’t know much about what God has made, or how to use it. I don’t know about the healing available in plants, or much about the essential oils that come from those plants. I am one of the first ones to take a Tylenol or Ibuprofin. I have run to the Dr anytime I wanted to. Yet with the current state of healthcare in the USA – lets just say things are a mess.
So what would you do if the DR was closed tomorrow?
What would happen if the Church
started anointing with those oils again?
What if the church became the Hospital again?
I did a Bible search on “anoint with oil” and found 27 Verses in the NKJV. I know that oil is a symbol of the Holy Spirt. I have witnessed many healings after a person was anointed with oil. I KNOW that God works through the oil.
“And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.”(Mark 6:13 NKJV)
