You Are Remarkable

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Intro: A remarkable character, who can find?

V1
My desire is for God,
not what Hollywood teaches.
I’ll bring good not harm,
my worth is in Jesus.

CHORUS
In a world that constantly floods me, with impurity and tainted views,
I choose to be holy, set apart for His use.
He made me remarkable, He made me remarkable.

V2
Like a deer that pants for water,
my soul longs for God
a royal Princess
declaring His praise

BRIDGE
He called me out of the darkness, and into the Light

REPEAT CHORUS

Outro: He made me remarkable

Beside Quiet Waters – Dust

A New Creation Too – He Loves U

Active Devotions – Peace [1] Sand

  1. Other versions say, You “knit” me, instead of You “covered” me. As a knitter, I love the visual. Whenever I make something, every inch of yarn passes through my fingers. I am “intimately” acquainted with every bit that goes into that which I have made.

    Thank you for sharing this today.

    • Ooohhh I like that, what a beautiful picture you paint with your words. You know that is the start of an awesome song!

      • It really touched me when the Lord showed how involved He is in our lives.

        Can’t wait to hear the song…for that matter, can’t wait until I begin writing songs again. Hopefully this will be the year!
