Shine on, Beautiful Mama, Super Sweet, Best Moment, Reality Blog Awards!

Yep, gonna get caught up here, thank you Jesus.  This past month has been a little unsettling, but alas, I choose to focus on the positive and trust God for the rest.  Really, it’s the only way I can not be a basket case!  In the midst of my craziness my friends have blessed me with abundance.  Yep, my cup is running over.  You guys/gals never cease to amaze me. Thank you!

I am following 406 blogs. Is that normal?  No wonder I don’t get them all in my Reader.  Can you crash a WordPress Reader?  I know, lots of questions today.

(PS, if I nominate you and you don’t want to play – no worries, I know some people accept and some do not, I love you just the same!)

A big thank you to my fellow bloggers, and friends, for nominating me for the following awards. I love you all!

Cheryl Showers – of Burning Fire Shut Up in My Bones for the Shine On/Beautiful Mama/Super Sweet Blogging Awards

Shine On Award Rules:

1. Link back to the blogger who nominated you

2. Put the Award on your blog.

3. Share 7 little secrets about yourself.

4. Nominate 5 – 10 other bloggers who make others happy too.

7 things….(1)I have colored my hair since 18 years old when the gray started; (2) I love Dunkin Donuts coffee;(3)I can’t believe how close I feel to all of you fellow bloggers – you know things about me that a lot of other people don’t; (4)Your words echo in my heart sometimes – even though I may not tell you; (5) I can’t wait to plant something and dig in the dirt; (6)My mom and mother-in-law passed away last year, and I think I am going to go on strike for Mother’s Day – not looking forward to that; (7) I can’t believe it but I joined FaceBook, I always said I never would – too many horror stories out there.  So, I am treading gracefully…

Being a mom, I am the finder of all lost things, the bandager of all wounds, and the light in the darkness!  I am so blessed with children, they truly are a gift. And I think sometimes, they teach me more than I teach them!

Ana Perry – of Jubilee Journey

for the Best Moment Award

Awarding the people who live in the moment,
The noble who write and capture the best in life,
The bold who reminded us what really mattered –
Savoring the experience of quality time.

Perpetua – of Theseeker

for the REALITY Blog Award

There are five questions that go along with this award.

1) If you could change one thing, what would you change? No more sorrow, no more tears, no more pain, no more abuse

2) If you could repeat an age, what age would it be? I don’t even want to go there, sorry.  I like to live my life going forward, not in reverse!

3) What is one thing that really scares you? I don’t like jumping spiders!

4) What is one dream you have not completed, and do you think you will be able to complete it?  I would love to travel with my husband. And yes, we will, after the kiddos are on their own!

5) If you could be someone else for the day, who would you be? I have a hard enough time being me sometimes, not gonna try to be someone else.  Besides, I buried my old masks!

thank you all, you have helped me build my faith, not give up, keep reaching, and keep growing!

  1. I am so honored by my awards. I accept graciously and pass on the love. I love belonging to this blog community and these simple awards are a small way to build community relationship. I feel honored to be part of your circle, I love your posts and your music. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Oh, and I like how you combined all the awards into one post. Did it make it easier/faster?

    1. You are a treasure Jubilee. Thank you for your kindness. I liked doing them together, time was the same, but then I only have one post instead of multiple posts. Have fun sharing the love!

  2. thanks so much for nominating my blog… that is truly sweet of you 🙂
    and i really appreciate it
just need a bit of time to figure out how to make it all work!

  3. Wow! You received all these awards? That’s wonderful. I’ve coveted these awards whenever I’ve seen them. It means a lot to receive one, and I’m honored to be selected by you for the Shine On award.

Yesterday I received a different award from another writer…it took a couple of hours just to prepare the post. I’m still trying to figure out how to contact everyone and get them to my post so they can have all the fun I just did 😉

I hate to be a party pooper, but if I do this all over again, I will have one very unhappy husband (who is waiting for me to finish and make his dinner!). Thank you so, so much for considering me, though!

  4. Oh, Diana…I so appreciate being nominated:) It means a lot to have been selected by you. I’m going to have to pass on the official acceptance and free someone else to take it…just because of the steps to nominate others and figure all that out…trying to keep things simple over at Beside Quiet Waters…I so appreciate you and your blog! Keep it up!

  5. Wow Weee…. a stash of Awards. Wonderbar, golden girl. (pssssttt… come back and take the TAG you are it in my original post)
    😆 Congratulations, Ms. D.

    1. Girl, you are gonna wear me out! I’ll pass on the tag, Ms. Diana is pooped! Thank you for thinking of me though! 🙂
