Mercy at Sunset

Weekly Photo Challenge: The Golden Hour

The Golden Hour. In photography, the “golden hour” is the first and last hour of sunlight of the day.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe]. (Psalm 103 11-13 AMP)

My Prayer for You:

Dear Lord,
Thank you for the beauty you show us everyday.  You are an amazing artist, and we stand in awe of what you have made.  Thank you for Jesus, thank you for not keeping a record of everything we have done wrong.  You nailed it to the cross with Jesus, He took our punishment. We let go of the guilt and shame today, it is already paid for – we have been redeemed. Jesus bore our sicknesses and our diseases on that cross. It is finished!  Thank you for your mercy and loving kindness with us, your kids.  Love you God…

      • I’m still in bed, but I’m thankful to have this time to catch up with my blog friends (including YOU!)

        Thank you for asking.

I’d love to hear your comments on the post.

  3. Gorgeous pictures Diana. Did you take all of those yourself? Sorry I haven’t gotten back to you on Shades of Grey. That left hand problem has now turned into a soft tissueinflammation from my wrist to my shoulder. I’m on Prednisone now, which is really wreaking havoc with my blood sugars (I’m type 1 diabetic). If this doesn’t work, I’ll be put in a cast. The hard part of staying still is the ‘NOT MOVING’ part. I’ve got to get us packed for Myrtle Beachand Bill is working overtime to get his work done before we can go next week. ANYWAYlet’s see what Cindy has to say on Monday, before we proceedwith Shades of Grey. And I need to look at the words again.I’m not sure of what kind of approach we need on this one.Do you think we should go rock, or soft? Clearly it’s a warning aboutlukewarm love. How does that translate into music? Do we take a ‘warning’approach or do we take a ‘screaming at you to wake you up’ approach oris it a soft approach with some foreboding in it, with a turnaround to a loving sound in theBridges and then End????? I don’t know.

What’s the word on the Broadjam contest? Can you fill me in on youradditional accolades? I want to be able to let Cindy know as much about you as I can. Thanks,t
