Don’t need a tarnished old lamp
Don’t need a magic carpet to fly
God’s mercy is greater than magic
His promises, more faithful than spells

We don’t need a cave for wonders
miracles and signs happen every day
The Kingdom of Heaven is here
when we pray and receive today

The children of God are not paupers
Already Princes and Princesses
adopted into His family
Don’t need to rub a lamp, make a wish
*
No mischievous little brown monkeys
No Genies with three fake wishes
Because The Way, Truth, and Life
doesn’t need a magic carpet to fly

Sometimes I think this apple is too big to eat Nicole! It has been fun, very ‘out of the box’ for me.
