Have you ever gone through a season of infirmity? One thing happens, and then another, and another, and stuff is popping up everywhere in your body. It feels like that game Whack-A-Mole!
Let’s go backwards in time to 2018. I had an awesome job at a large company and was training the new hires. I loved it, guess it must be the teaching in me. The head of the Training Department asked me to come on to the team. Yeah!
Well just when things look up, that nasty old Devil throws something at you. I wish I was more prepared for the upcoming battle. We had 3 rows of new trainees with about 10 desks deep. The new hire would take their first calls and raise a red flag if they needed help. My job was to run over to that person, have them put the customer on hold, and help them to resolve the problem. It was great. Until my legs started going numb from the knees down.
Little did I know what was coming next. I called my Dr. and made an appointment. When we met, she referred me to a Neurologist. You can read about the awful test with needles and electric shocks here:
A Season of Infirmity
End result – Peripheral Neuropathy. Then a MRI and Back Dr. added Spinal Stenosis and Degenerative Disc Disease. Great year – not! Other infirmities followed – Heart Attack, Pancreatitis, Broken Arm, Leg Tremors, etc. You Can read about that here:
It Didn’t Feel Like a Heart attack
Let’s just say it’s been a long 4 years. Through all of it, God was and is still faithful. I was never alone, He was with me through it all. He heard my frustration when I lost it because the symptoms were acting up. He was with me when I cried because I thought I would be in a wheelchair soon. He was with me all those days I had to stay home from Church because my back was out or my legs wouldn’t work. Through all of the infirmities, Jesus was there with me. My healing wasn’t immediate. It’s taken 4 years. There are still some things that Jesus needs to heal. He isn’t done yet!
I have felt His presence wash over me many times. When I sit at His feet the atmosphere changes. I know that this is the place where Jesus Healed Me!
What happened in 2022? Jesus healed me! I have been praying, my husband, my church family, my friends, we all prayed. God listened and answered our prayers. The Lord has raised me up because of all of the prayers. Thank you Lord for praying people!
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. – Mark 11:24
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; – Philippians 4:6
Until now you have not asked [the Father] for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete. – John 16:24
This month I went to the Cardiologist for my 1 year check up. The Echocardiogram showed my heart was back to normal – no blockages, no damage or defects. Why? Because Jesus Healed Me!
I also had another MRI. Guess what the Back Dr. said? My back and vertebrae look better than they did in 2019! Spinal Stenosis and Degenerative Disc Disease had to bow at the Name of Jesus! Yes, Jesus still heals today!
If that disease has a name, it has to bow before the Name of Jesus!
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. – Philippians 2:5-11
I believe Jesus wants to heal YOU too! Why? Because “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” – Hebrews 13:8. If Jesus healed in Bible times, he can heal us here! Some healings are immediate, others take a while. And some healings happen on the other side, God is not bound by time. He does heal, whether it is here on Earth, or in Heaven. God promised!
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (vanished), and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed like a bride adorned for her husband; and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [as their God,] and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.”
And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].” And He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I will give [water] from the fountain of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. – Revelation 21:1-7 AMP
What about the numbness of neuropathie did it also heal?

Lumbar Stenosis – you shut up and get out of my friend. Go back to where you came from. You have a name, and because you have a name lumbar stenosis, you must bow to Jesus!

Hello Rs, Yes, I believe Jesus can and will heal you – He promised. I don’t know when that will be – here on Earth or in Heaven, that’s up to God. He knows and sees each tear that falls. He collects them in his bottle.
The Lord is building up Jerusalem;
He is gathering [together] the exiles of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow]. – Psalm 147:2
You have taken account of my wanderings;
Put my tears in Your bottle.
