Wherever you are going, whatever you are doing, God promised to go ahead of you to prepare the way. I can’t tell you how many times I have depended on these verses. I started a new job this week. I’m back in the School District helping kids. That part is exciting. But can I tell you I was really nervous the first day. I didn’t know what to expect. It’s not always easy being the new kid on the block. Walking into a new environment with all new people. I was pleasantly surprised. The Staff was amazing. The Secretries in particular have made me feel at ease each day. And I am setting up my classroom, learning new equipment, meeting new teachers, and learning new things.

I asked God to show me if this was the right move for me. Can I tell you He answered? I felt His Presence in an amazing way on my first day at school. There weren’t any kids there yet, just teacher work day. No bells, no whistles, no trumpets from Heaven or anything – just a calm peaceful feeling and the amazing awareness of His Presence. God was there – He went before me and prepared the way. He was waiting for me to get there. I just didn’t know it yet!

Who knew such a good thing was right round the corner?

MY PRAYER FOR YOU:

Dear Lord,

I thank you that You go first. Thank you  for leading us in the way we should go. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that you have put inside of us so we can commune with you anywhere at anytime. Thank You for confirming Your Word with Your Presence in our everyday lives, in Jesus Name.
