Healing in Your Wounds

Healing from all that yuck? Really? Yep.  Think about it. The last time you went through something did you call someone?  Did they ever go through something similar? Wasn’t it comforting knowing you were not the only one?  And I guess it helps me to know that something good will come from all those tears.  That was a lot of water, something should grow from it!

Tears Wisdom
“Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts. I was better after I had cried, than before–more sorry, more aware of my own ingratitude, more gentle.”
― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

“We need never be ashamed of our tears.”
― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

“Don’t be ashamed to weep; ’tis right to grieve. Tears are only water, and flowers, trees, and fruit cannot grow without water. But there must be sunlight also. A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us.”
― Brian Jacques, Taggerung

“Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness.”
― Steve Maraboli

“Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears.”
― Edgar Allan Poe

“There you go…let it all slide out. Unhappiness can’t stick in a person’s soul when it’s slick with tears.”
― Shannon Hale, Princess Academy

“A broken heart bleeds tears.”
― Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free

N Jones of Protilius Productions just made my day with his amazing engineering and music mastery at Protilius Productions. I would recommend him to any of my musician friends here.  It really makes a difference having a professional bring your music to a new level.  I mean I know what I hear in my head, but Nathaniel is able to help me get it out!

There are tears

my heart can’t hold
falling down soaking the ground

Water from my soul
releasing pain
It’s my cry to begin again

From a secret place
I see your face
Your raindrops are tears
Sent from above
pouring out love
Your raindrops are tears

drench my hurt
heal my pain
You can call me by a new name

soak the trees
heal all things
that are precious to a King

From a secret place
I see your face
Your raindrops are tears
Sent from above
pouring out love
Your raindrops are tears

You wept when I wept
You cried when I cried

From a secret place
I see your face
Your raindrops are tears
Sent from above
pouring out love
Your raindrops are tears

  1. Great post! I have a piece of art done by a friend that reads “The soul would have no rainbow had the eye no tears.” Thanks of the blessing of you post tonight. I pray that you and yours have a very blessed Thanksgiving. Natalie 😉

        1. You have so many contacts, it just amazes me. I pray for God to guide your path as He leads you to write songs to Him and lead us both in any further songs that we would collaborate to get His message out…. His “Overcomers” team… Blessings to you my sister and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!
