  1. When I was married my wife used to punch me in the face a lot. I decided I should call the police to protect her, coz i didn’t want to end up getting mad and hitting her back. After i called the cops she quit hitting me for a long time.

    1. Thank you Brad. I know all of this stuff can go both ways. I appreciate you sharing your story with us. I am glad you restrained yourself, you are a very wise man. I have to admit, when my ex started the shoving/hitting, I would hit back. I learned my lesson quick – don’t hit back – it was worse then.

  2. “Love is not the problem…hitting and screaming and degrading and kicking and punching and yelling and name calling and belittling and injuring and controlling and using the children as pawns and treating us like a piece of property and threatening to kill us and taking all the money and taking the car and killing and…” – I have personally experienced this. One cannot begin to comprehend the magnitude of domestic violence until you go through it on a personal basis! Been there done that right along with you Diana!
