A Song Waiting to Happen

A Song Waiting to Happen

A girl on a passenger train
Looks out the window, feels insane
Her heart pounds hard in her chest
Can’t believe she finally left
She’s a song waiting to happen
Time for take two with no more abuse
The sun rises on the horizon
she’s a song waiting to happen
She is struggling just to believe
Finding it so hard to conceive
That this unhappy ending
is a just a new beginning
She’s a song waiting to happen
It’s time for take two
With no more abuse
The sun rises on the horizon
she’s a song waiting to happen

The Lord will guide you always
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.  (Isaiah 58:11 NIV)

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.  (Psalm 32:8 NIV)

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.  (Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV)

Dear Lord,

I pray for new beginnings, for every woman who is on that train to a new place. I pray that you would heal hearts and restore lives.  Restore what the enemy has stolen 100 fold. Provide for them with supernatural blessings. Renew minds with your Holy Spirit, and give us all strength to continue. Lead us Lord, to a peaceful place with You, in Jesus Name.

this is so beautiful. I can put myself into that train that is going to a new place – it is comforting to know I am not alone , that our Lord is with me all the way. Hugs….

This is incredibly inspiring! I think of Genesis 49 when Jacob was blessing his children. You gave such a beautiful blessing to all your readers. Thank you!
